This time of the year surely puts everyone in a festive mood. It’s a combination of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with all the colorful decorations and gifts we exchange with each other and the ending of one year to begin anew. Here at Alan Holden Vacations when it’s Christmas in Holden Beach it’s one of our most favorite times of the year. We’d like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and save New Year.
Enjoying the sounds of the season is a great way to full experience the Christmas holiday. The Annual Christmas Concert at Ocean View United Methodist Church gives audiences a taste of holiday cheer and the true message of Christmas. This year’s concert, Fantasia Noel, features a variety of songs by the Christmas choir, soloists, a trio, and a piano solo by Music Director Greg Walker.
Residents and vacationers alike are invited to attend the concert at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, December 11 and 12 and at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 13. The church is located on Oak Island, at 8400 East Oak Island Drive. A love offering will be taken, with money raised benefitting the church’s music programs.
