Tim Pittman

Tim has been a resident of this area for over 23 years. He moved here form Raleigh in 1981 with CP & L in their Operations Division, where he worked for 16 years. Also during this time he was a member of the Long Beach Volunteer Fire Department, and served as Fire Chief for eight of those years.

During this years with the Fire Department, the new fire station was approved and constructed. Tim also organized the Annual Long Beach Horse Ride, which was held for seven consecutive years, and coordinated through the Fire Department as a special community event.

After a brief job assignment in Vermont in 1999, Tim returned to this area where he started his own landscaping and irrigation company, and earned his law enforcement certification in 2001. He was an officer with the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department for three years.

Tim has a son in his first year at The Citadel, and a daughter who is a student at South Brunswick High School. He owns horses, and enjoys riding when he can. Tim is also a percussionist with his church in Shallotte.
